Technical Specifications

If your file conforms to the following specifications you will not incur additional charges or delays. Files that are not RIP-Ready may incur additional charges and delays.

We accept files in the following formats:
• PDF (preferred) see our FAQ page and/or PDF Tips page.
• Adobe Photoshop (TIFF, EPS, High Res JPG - CMYK)

We DO NOT accept files in the following formats:
• .ai or .eps files (Illustrator, Freehand, etc.)
• PageMaker
• Publisher
• Microsoft Word
• .EXE files (executable)

Quick Checklist

File Transfer via FTP Easy Uploader - compressed
PDF High Resolution for printing with fonts embedded (no transparency)
Fronts/Backs in Separate File
File Prepared Using Supported Application
Corel Files: All text converted to outlines and exported to .ai format (do NOT use "patterns")
Layout is to correct size*
Do NOT add cropmarks
Correct Bleed (1/8") has been added (if required)
PostScript Font(s) have been included (if required)
Images/Graphics supplied in TIFF or EPS, or High Resolution JPG format only** (no LZW compression or transfer functions)
Image Resolution is 300 - 400 dpi
Colors: ALL Colours converted to CMYK. DO NOT USE RGB or PANTONE colors.

*ie: for standard business card, your page size should be 3.5" x 2". If you require bleed, your page size should be 3.75" x 2.25"
**please size and rotate images in the creator application
